Located in Australia, a Scientist sets out to harness the power of Dark Energy without realising the consequences of his research on the continuity of time. Time itself fractures, events take place randomly and out of sequence, whilst the Doctor races to repair the temporal damage he must also save his companion trapped in the 15th Century with Joan of Arc.
